SynthID Pass

SynthID Pass is developing an independent tool to detect and remove imperceptible digital watermarks embedded in AI-generated images, videos, and audio files. The tool processes SynthID watermarks—invisible markers that Google DeepMind embeds directly into media pixels to indicate AI-generated content. Unlike traditional metadata cleaners that only strip file headers, SynthID Pass targets the pixel-level watermarks designed to persist through filters, color changes, and lossy compression. The tool helps creators understand detection verdicts and manage digital provenance across their workflows by clearing both visible and invisible watermarks from media files.
